Diablo First Person
An unofficial fan project exploring the world of the original Diablo (1996) from a first-person perspective.
- Same game, different perspective! The original Diablo gameplay and world, represented as faithfully as possible in first person using 3D geometry generated from the game's existing map and tile data rather than externally modeled environments.
- WASD + mouse controls layered over the original gameplay logic. Movement is still tile-based!
- Carefully selected first-person features: hold Alt to use the mouse cursor, spellcasting adjustments, a minimal weapon slash and hit indicator, enemy highlighting tweaks, and more.
- Instantly toggle between classic isometric and new 3D views by pressing G, just like Diablo II: Resurrected!
